Internship Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic interns to join our team to assist with field research and data collection projects. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for beginners to gain valuable hands-on experience in research methodologies, field interviewing, and using modern data collection tools. Interns will work under the supervision of expert teams and receive intensive training to enhance their skills. The team will be trained on data collection, conducting interviews, and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), as well as quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. Interns will also be trained on using KoboToolbox and other applications. Applicants will be evaluated for periodic tasks based on individual performance scores. Tasks & Responsibilities

• Assisting in Data Collection: Supporting the research team in conducting interviews, filling out questionnaires, and performing field surveys.
• Learning & Application: Absorbing and applying the quantitative and qualitative data collection methodologies provided during training.
• Tool Utilization: Using data collection applications on tablets or smartphones.
• Data Documentation: Assisting in documenting and organizing the collected data.
• Collaboration: Working as part of the team, participating in meetings, and providing feedback.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Academic Background: University recent graduate in disciplines such as Social Sciences, Statistics, Management, or any related field.
• Soft Skills:
• Good communication skills.
• High motivation to learn.
• Ability to work within a team.
• Flexibility for fieldwork.
• Technical Skills:
• Basic knowledge of computers and office software (e.g., Microsoft Word and Excel).
• No previous experience in data collection is required, but it is considered an added advantage.
